The Wenzhou Mold Association was established in July 2000 as a non-profit civil society organization with legal personality. It is composed of enterprises, institutions, and organizations engaged in the manufacturing, sales, research, and education related to the mold industry. Currently, it has more than 200 member companies, with 42 directors in the third council, including 18 chairpersons. The association's executive body is the Secretariat, which publishes the specialized periodical "Wenzhou Mold Information."
The association is dedicated to various aspects of work such as industry promotion, advocacy, member services, communication facilitation, and development guidance:
------Based on industry surveys, it actively participates in policy advocacy, communicates the link between government and enterprises, improves the industry development environment, promotes the industry's status and role, and facilitates the inclusion of the mold industry in the municipal government's "Twelfth Five-Year Plan."
------It conducts research on industry development strategies, promotes development plans, fosters strategic alliances, cultivates leading enterprises, and guides the healthy development of the industry.
------It hires economic and legal consultants, establishes platforms, and creates means to provide member enterprises with economic, technical, legal, and other consulting and information services.
------It collaborates with relevant departments and units to conduct professional technical training and skills qualification certification training, improving the quality of enterprise staff.
It promotes external contacts and organizes member enterprises to study and visit other regions and countries, develop exchanges and cooperation, explore business opportunities, and expand development space. It also organizes exhibitions to promote economic and technical exchanges and expand the market.
